Spectacles for Presbyopia

It is common that most middle aged people have to see things clearly at an arm’s lens instead of at close hand. This is so-called presbyopia or the “short arm syndrome”. However, for this eye problem, nearsighted people are lucky that when they are aging, they can have a clear vision without the help of glasses. But for those who are not nearsighted when they are young, they need to wear reading glasses to help them see clearly.

Why people have presbyopia when they getting old? Actually, when we are young, the lens of our eye is flexible and thin, but with times pass by, the lens become thicker and no longer flexible. So that people has difficulties in focusing things nearby.

Concerning reading glasses, there are many choices available for people to choose. They can choose full frame or half frames. Besides they can also choose from the corrective, multifocal or progressive lenses. Full frame reading glasses are suitable for people who need to work in front of computers or need to see objects nearby for long time. While half frames can enable people to see distant objects clearly and easily. The difference among corrective, multifocal and progressives lenses is corrective lenses have fixed power, but the other two can have two or three horizontal viewing areas for all situations. Besides, progressive and bifocal lenses can transit different distances without being noticed by wearers in order to help them see clearly at different distances.

Though several kinds of reading glasses can satisfy aging people’s requirement to see clearly, there is still another problem. It is annoying that they often can not find their reading glasses when needed. Thanks to the folding glasses that they can be foldable and put into their pocket or even purse. What’s more, for most folding glasses, the style and size can be made according to customers’ requirement. People are so smart that they can make the magnifying lenses just like a credit card, which will be very easy and convenient to take, either in the purse or hooked to a key chain. Don’t look down upon this small tool. They are made of polymer-coated acrylic frames which make them not easy to break. And can you imagine the magnifying lenses to be a pendant of a necklace? Yes, it is just made as a pendent, not only add to your appearance, but also help you to see clearly.
